Who says objects don’t speak? There are people who believe that rocks are living, so why not treat your Willow Tree angel arrangement as though they were a living celestial family? It’s elegance meets whimsy in your Willow Tree world! Have fun with it. Make little clusters of families. Gather some inspiration from quality paintings and photographs.

One thing you’ll notice about them is that their backs are rarely facing the camera/viewer, but on occasion, a few do. Group the angels according to who is looking in which direction. Arrange an angel who is gazing downward in such a way that she seems to be meeting the eyes of one who looks upward. Cluster a few of those who look straight ahead, as though they were engaged in casual conversation.

The Willow Tree angels can also be grouped by activity (i.e., the dancer and the flute-player would be delightful together, as would the clustering of the garden and kitchen angels). Bring them to life as though they were in attendance at a gathering. You can take it to a new extreme by arranging them within a quality wooden doll house! What a charming conversation piece that would be. Don’t forget to have a few out of doors, though, to stand as guardians of the household – both the real one as well as the dwelling of angels.
